THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND DONATIONS THIS WEEK
April 3, 2020
As this COVID-19 pandemic continues, the patients of The Floating Hospital are grateful for the donations
As one of the few charitable healthcare organizations in the city, these donations are gratefully received.
Nothing raises spirits like pizza! On Wednesday, our staff were delighted to receive pizza from Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop. This was organized by Ian and Courtney at Pizza For The Heroes.

On Thursday, we welcomed a donation of 3,000 rubber gloves from the kind volunteers at PPE Needed NYC. Russ from the American Construction League delivered the gloves, and our staff gratefully accepted them.

We also graciously accepted these surgical masks and rubber gloves from an anonymous donor.
PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING URGENTLY NEEDED SUPPLIES TO THE FLOATING HOSPITAL
Masks with face shield (does not have to be N95)
Small and medium surgical gloves
Disposable “hospital-type” gowns
Glucometers and glucose testing supplies (test strips, alcohol swabs, and lancets)
Portable automated blood pressure monitors
Any items that will help our patients at this time will be gratefully accepted:
Personal hygiene: travel-size soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste
Laundry detergent (small packages)
Baby care: diapers (sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6), wipes and formula
Menstrual care: pads, tampons, menstrual cups and period underwear
With our modified service, our staff are under increased pressure. Donating lunch gives them one less thing to think about, so they can focus on providing the best service to our patients. If you can donate lunch to our hardworking staff, please email info@thefloatinghospital.org.
