Share a post, read to a kid, attend an event, donate to a campaign, transform a life—our mission is powered by you.
Join our society of monthly donors: caring people who make our mission real and families whole again. One-quarter of all families living in NYC’s homeless shelters and domestic violence safe houses receive their care from us. Together, we can help them get back home.
With unconditional love and care from providers, social workers, and compassionate donors like you, families that experience misfortune have a chance to recover their health, their homes and hope for their children’s future.
Your gift is an act of love. It is heroic.
Your gift provides more than you can imagine. 86 cents of every dollar you donate directly funds medical care, health education, and transportation to and from our health centers, free to families in need.
"This is my family." We heard that from more than one of our young campers. After the last campfire ember faded, after the last backpack was loaded on to the bus back to the city, what remained was everything: the laughing, the lessons, the love of nature and newfound friendships. For all of you whose support made this year's camp possible, thank you. Now, let's look onward, to the summer of 2020!
Pay it forward, pay it back, enrich your experience while forwarding a mission you believe in.
Your gift is one of the last buffers against a system that is failing families. Institutional care programs are constantly challenged by political forces that restrict and cut funding. Medicaid doesn't fully cover The Floating Hospital's costs to provide medical, behavioral, or dental healthcare to our patients. And it doesn't cover all of the vital services we provide like health education and free-to-patient transportation services. Your gift will make a real difference to a family.
