With the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the rise in NYC, we are following city and medical association mandates and guidelines.
|•||IMPORTANT: please call – 718-784-2240 – prior to your visit to confirm your appointment as guidelines and mandates are subject to change|
|•||All medical visits will be offered as telehealth visits|
|•||We are accepting the following visits|
|◦ New visits for sick patients|
|◦ Well visits for children 0-5 years old requiring vaccines|
|◦ All behavioral health visits will be telehealth only|
|◦ Dental services are being restricted to emergency services only|
|◦ No adult physicals at this time|
Clinic closures and service modification
|•||The Floating Hospital’s main healthcare center in LIC will remain open according to our usual hours and days of operation|
|•||The Floating Hospital’s Queensbridge clinic is open: Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm|
|•||The Floating Hospital’s Astoria and Goodwill clinics are closed, all patients are welcome at our main clinic at LIC|
Stay safe, be safe
|•||Stay home if you are sick|
|•||Wash your hands thoroughly throughout the day and keep your home and work environment clean|
|•||Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or sleeve|
|•||Avoid touching your face|
|•||Advise your doctor if you have fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath as these symptoms could be concerning for COVID-19|
|•||Wear cloth face coverings in public where other social distancing measures are hard to maintain. Do not use surgical masks or N-95 respirators. Those are critical supplies that must be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders.|
Since 1866, The Floating Hospital is the largest provider of healthcare to homeless families. We provide free and secure transport to and from over 300 shelters and domestic violence safe houses throughout New York City.
The Floating Hospital operates a main clinic in Long Island City. Additionally, we have satellite clinics at shelters, public housing, and assessment centers throughout the city.
