Thank you for your kind donations this week – April 24, 2020
We’ve always relied on the kindness of neighbors.
Thank you for this week’s donations!
Our staff were delighted to receive continued support from LIC Relief. The grassroots organization, founded by Pastor Patrick Thompson and Kelly Craig, is doing phenomenal work throughout the community. They provided staff with lunches all week.
Gena Chavez, a friend of Clinical Projects Manager Linda You, NP, kindly donated 1500 diapers and toiletry kits. Pictured with Gena’s donation are Linda, and Director of Health Education, Meghan Miller.
Jaime-Faye Bean from Sunnyside Shines in nearby Sunnyside stopped by with two dozen beautiful handmade, washable masks.
As if feeding our staff for three weeks wasn’t enough, Kelly Craig from LIC Relief kindly donated these masks.
We enjoyed some Michele Et Augustin treats courtesy of Ronald McDonald House. This was quite the morale booster for our staff!
Our friends at Modern Spaces and Skyline Tower donated activity books and crayons, which were graciously and gratefully accepted by our Health Education team.
LIC Masks is a group of wonderful human beings from our surrounding community in Long Island City. They make masks, collect manufactured masks, and distribute them to those in need, including their neighbors at The Floating Hospital.
