We are thrilled to announce that Floating Hospital Dental Manager Ernesto Hart has received the 2026 Dr. Beverly A. Largent Access to Care Innovator Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation. The national award honors leaders transforming access to dental care for children. 

Hart lives the mission of The Floating Hospital, embodying a patient-centered model that goes far beyond dental care, and inspires his colleagues to do the same. Sarajane Brittis, who has worked with Hart for many of his 35 years here, noted he literally represents the heart of the organization. Everything he approaches is done with love and care, and every patient is met with dignity and compassion.
