Partner Spotlight: MetLife
TFH is truly lucky to have a group of amazing volunteers right in its own backyard!
Literally next door at its Long Island City location, a MetLife Corporate Volunteer Team, headed by Carol DuBosque in Business Systems and Cecilia Chignola in Publishing Services, began partnering with TFH in April. This team has already become indispensible in helping our homeless families ... including organizing a stuffed animal collection, printing outreach materials and compiling over 180 Mother's Day gift bags for distribution throughout the entire month of May. The photo above also displays a few of the beautiful hand-made Mother's Day cards they created for the children to personalize and present with each gift.
These volunteer efforts help so much in providing special moments for our homeless families, while significantly maximizing the generous financial support also received by TFH from the the MetLife Foundation.
